All members of staff at HOTEL CHESTER are perfectly prepared for your stay with us. Our employees have all attended special and customized safety training, including instructions on special hygiene and safety measures. This helps us ensure that they are not only able to protect themselves, but also our valued guests. In addition to this, we were quick to adapt our processes and extend our medical expertise with the help of our stakeholders from the field of healthcare.


To help protect the health of all guests and employees, we are now using a thermal imaging camera for automatic fever screening. This allows the body temperature of anyone spending time at the hotel to be recorded both quickly and precisely, thereby making a key contribution to containing COVID-19.

In addition, we have further increased our already strict hygiene standards:

– Door handles, handrails, switches, and lift call buttons are all cleaned multiple times a day.

– Room cleaning has been further intensified and potential contaminant carriers, such as brochures, magazines, toiletries, decorative cushions, and bedspreads, have been removed from the rooms.

– Our rooms and function rooms are regularly ventilated.

– The desks in our conference rooms at the CHESTER CONVENTION CENTER are also disinfected multiple times a day. Glasses and cups are changed for every break.

– Central disinfection stations have also been installed on every floor of the hotel.


To help slow the spread of COVID-19 and secure our well-being, we are all obliged to observe social distancing rules. To make it as easy as possible for you as a guest, we have installed distance markings at all relevant locations in the hotel and at the most important points of contact. A dedicated system of routes, clear signs, and rope partitions help maintain the minimum social distancing in public areas and the corridors.


Our employees are obligated to wear face masks. So even if we are unable to welcome you with a visible smile, you can rest assured that we are smiling warmly behind our masks – and will always welcome you open-heartedly. For the protection of everyone, we ask that you also wear a face mask whenever you are in public areas.


Our neighboring Chester Convention Center has been set up to meet the needs of discerning convention guests. We are also keen to cater to your wishes at this time. Our various rooms are ideal for hosting events with up to 20 people, while maintaining the necessary social distancing of 1.50 m. The seating plans have been adapted accordingly to comply with the rules and regulations. Large window facades mean that all rooms are flooded with light and also well ventilated.


Located in a calm setting that is close to nature, right at the heart of an idyllic knowledge campus, the Chester Convention Center is the ideal location for guests looking for a quiet and private place to relax between work sessions.

Numerous green areas also provide flexibility and allow conventions and seminars to be moved outdoors, as well as offering plenty of fresh air during breaks.


Whether breakfast, lunch, or a light snack during a break – our chef loves nothing more than indulging you with fresh, regional, and high-quality products. For hygiene reasons, however, we are unfortunately not able to offer our self-service finger food buffets at the present time. But we are happy to offer you healthy and delicious culinary highlights with our à la carte service.

Our spacious restaurant area with sunny outside terrace also complies in full with the stipulated social distancing rules. In addition, all of our guests are seated at selected tables by our service personnel. Specific dining times can be arranged as and when desired. You are obviously also welcome to make use of our room service.

We also offer individual, mobile break packages for those taking part in meetings or conferences.
